We encourage you to use the link above to view the latest in the My “Walk” Empowerment Edition A “Walk” in education.

The edition showcased various steps taken in education including; William Bryant, Student Advocate for the African American Community; Tori Westling, (parents of Lincoln Public Schools scholars); Dr. Steve Joel, Superintendent of Lincoln Public Schools, and Layla Omari an LPS Scholar who serves on the 2019-2020 District Multicultural Equity Diversity Cadre.

Each shared steps, meaningful moments, challenges, advice that has been given to support their “Walk” in Education!

Special thanks to our host and the Communication Department of Lincoln Public Schools.

The My “Walk” PILLAR Restaurant Group Empowerment series continues to offer insight to a variety of “walks” within our community and their parallel to a shared life and dream of civility, equity, kindness, and justice the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and longtime community advocate and Rally & March founder Dr. Leola Bullock strived for.
